#1 We speak to Nicole Tan, Country Manager of Facebook Malaysia as she reaffirms her commitment towards using her platform to help SMEs in the country embrace digital tools.
“Most SMEs knew the tools are important but did not have the necessary skills to use them. There was also no big push from the market at the time but now with recent events, there is greater demand,” Tan says.

“We had to as demand was increasing and we had to get more vehicles and additional warehouse space. During any other time, we would have the chance to plan ahead, but with the pandemic, we had to move fast. It was hard to control the cost and we had to spend more.”
